The Queen of Autumn & its cocktail version

The consumption of pumpkin in Polish society is still low. You can guess that the reason for this fact is technically difficult, because it is not very easy to process. Fortunately, however, they are eager to act and it is certainly article for them below.

Pumpkin is a low-calorie and easily digestible vegetable! Its flesh has an energy value of around 30 kcal / 100g, that’s why people who want to decrease their body weight can calmly focus on it. The preparations from this vegetable – juices or purees are diuretics, that is they act diuretic thanks to which this vegetable is used in the treatment of kidney diseases and blood circulatory system. It is also characterized by detoxifying activity and regulating the metabolic rate. In addition, its consumption has got a beneficial effect on the decrease “bad” cholesterol and blood glucose, thus preventing the development of diabetes and improves the lipid profile of people with high “bad” cholesterol. Pumpkin consumption is influenced by cholagogue, alleviating and regenerating the digestive tract and the “chemical processing” of the liver. Raw or boiled pumpkin helps eliminate constipation. It can also be said that the vegetable even facilitates the treatment of obesity. What’s more – the pumpkin also has anti-cancer properties.  And what I made today –  a delicious autumn cocktail, where the main ingredient is PUMPKIN!

What you should buy?

2 apples
pumpkin – small; then bake it with the addition of (small) extra virgin coconut oil
– 
beetroot – small; as above – bake, together with the pumpkin
powdered turmeric
Ceylon cinnamon

How to make it?

Mix two peeled apples, beetroot, pumpkin and spices in the blender. Ready to drink!

Additional advice: pumpkin and beetroots can be baked in a single amount to have a cocktail even for 3 days.
